Jerome Robbins Dance Division Annual Report FY 2013 Now Available

The Jerome Robbins Dance Division’s latest Annual Report FY 2013 is now online on the Library’s website documenting another full and active year for the Dance Division. The number of public programs produced by the Dance Division this year was exceptional and included three Flamenco programs, three African programs with Robert Farris Thompson, Ronald K. Brown/Evidence and Djoniba Mouflet, and the program with Princess Norodom Buppha Devi in conversation with Peter Sellars. Two of these are available online on our new Digital Dance Video website.

Almost the entire backlog of manuscript collections in the Jerome Robbins Dance Division have been conserved processed and cataloged with finding aids. The backlog of Prints and Designs was almost finished. The Moving Image Archive continues to process the huge collections of Merce Cunnigham and Mikhail Baryshnikov.

If you want to see materials from home you can go to our Digital Collection Dance Video and see Core of Culture’s 300 hours of dance from the Kingdom of Bhutan or the recently finished dance interviews with dancers from Cambodia, in the Anne Bass funded Khmer Dance Project.

So take a look at what the Dance Division accomplished in the last year. None of this could have been done without the help from many other divisions of the Library, the support of The New York Public Library, and with support from the public. Thank you.
