Booktalking "I Have Two Homes" by Marian De Smet
Sometimes she lives with Mom, sometimes with Dad... in two different houses. Everything used to be nice with her entire family living in one house. Then, the fighting began, and it scared her. Everyone acts differently than they used to, and they are sad. She misses her mom when she is with her dad, and vice versa. Even her pets are split up!
However, there are advantages to living in two places. For one thing, she gets two birthday parties! Both of her parents love her, and that will never change.
