New York Comic Con is for Teachers & Librarians!

Register HERE for New York Comic Con Professional Day at New York Public Library.

At New York Comic Con, there have always been a number of panels geared toward professional librarians and educators. This year, NYCC is teaming up with the New York Public Library to expand its offerings for these professionals and provide them with an exclusive space for panels, networking, and workshops.

NYCC at the New York Public Library will feature intimate talks from Boom! Studios, Scholastic, Valiant, CBC, the ALA, and more, in the iconic Stephen A. Schwarzman building in Bryant Park. With panels and workshops on comics lesson planning, creating a gaming space in your local library, and using books to spark political interest in students, NYCC professional programming in the New York Public Library will provide librarians and educators with new and exciting ways to connect to their students and patrons.

This is a free, ticketed event for librarians, teachers, and educators, which will take place on Thursday, October 5 from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM at New York Public Library's Bryant Park location, which is located near the 7 Train at 476 5th Avenue (enter at 42nd Street near 5th Avenue). An NYCC professional badge is required for entry (your badge is your ticket!).

If you don’t already have a professional badge for New York Comic Con 2017, please fill out the Professional Application found here. If you already have a NYCC Pro badge, you are good to go - we will see you on Oct 5th!
