TechConnect: Beginners One-on-One Computer Sessions

This event will take place in person at Throgs Neck Library .

Do you want to learn about computers? 

Come join our beginners one-on-one computer sessions on Mondays and Fridays from 10am-12:30pm (unless specified otherwise). Please register a day in advance via phone call or visiting the library's front desk for available time slots. There are no walk-ins for day of time slots. The computer sessions are only 30 minutes.

10: 00am-10:30am 

10:30am-11am

11am-11:30am

11:30am-12pm

12pm-12:30pm

Listed below are some possible one-on-one computer sessions you can inquire our staff about:

• Learn to type
• Learn to use the mouse
• Basic Computer (how to turn on a computer, how to access the internet, etc.) 
• Beginner Microsoft Word (how to open a document and use some of the main beginning functions)
• Beginner Microsoft PowerPoint (how to open and use main beginning functions)
• Beginner Microsoft Excel (how to open and use main beginning functions)
• Beginner IPad Basic (how to turn it on, how to access the internet, etc. )
• Beginner Internet (how to access it and use the search options)
