100 Years of the Schomburg Center

The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture is celebrating the 100th anniversary of its founding! A national landmark and world-renowned research center located in the heart of Harlem, the Schomburg Center stewards a collection of 11 million items and is dedicated to the collection, preservation, and exhibition of Black history and culture.
