Harlem Circle

Members of the Harlem Circle are mission-driven supporters in their 20s through 40s who are inspired to celebrate Black history and culture by ways of literature, music, and art. Become a member of the Schomburg Center’s Harlem Circle today.

The Harlem Circle is a special membership group for young people who love rich history and culture, a good cocktail, and the Schomburg Center. Members receive exclusive access to engaging and inspiring events, behind-the-scenes tours at the Schomburg Center, pre-release film screenings, intimate discussions with celebrated authors and scholars, an annual poetry event and so much more! Membership provides critical support to the Schomburg Center and ensures New Yorkers have access to enriching programs and educational services free of charge!

Harlem Circle Patron ($25/month or $300 annually)

• 10% discount at the Schomburg Shop and 20% on select days
• 10% discount at the Library Shops and café
• Early access to VIP events at the Schomburg Center (such as author talks and book signings)
